Part II: Changing Relationships Through Conflict
Developing an insightful interpretation of a conflict narrative enables you to ask good questions about your experience. Perhaps most important, such insight provides you with coherent ideas about how you might improve the conflict skills you already have and develop new ones. Figuring what to build on and what to alter is the basis of any successful change effort, whether it is personal or organizational. The first half of this book prepared you to address issues of change in most relational contexts in which conflict is encountered. The second half of this book illustrates how you can apply the interpretive skills you have developed to the specific challenges of particular contexts.
