In addition to the use of interviews and oval mapping – both manual techniques – an alternative method for capturing assumptions, deep knowledge, and wisdom is through a computer supported, visual interactive modelling workshop. These workshops may be seen as a form of electronic ‘oval mapping’, as the statements and relationships are captured in a similar manner.
