This chapter will focus on two key themes: how practitioners lead children with their learning and how children can be supported in developing their own leadership skills. Within these concepts we shall explore how practitioners can work in partnership with children, as a means of ensuring that provision reflects their needs and interests. Additionally, we shall determine the roles that encompass leading children and how these fit within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
