A freelancer is an independent contractor selling his or her services individually. A freelance public relations practitioner will seek clients in exactly the same way as a larger consultancy indeed this is how many larger businesses began. Some freelancers, however, have made a specific lifestyle choice and are not intending to build a larger business.
