Syndicated Radio Tapes
Syndicated radio tapes (SRTs) are the sound version of the video news release. They come in two main forms; a taped interview with a company chairman, a celebrity or other newsmaker, which is distributed free to radio stations for transmission; or a syndicated live interview where the subject goes to a central studio and is interviewed in turn ‘down the line’ by a series of radio stations around the UK.
