Press packs have two manifestations. Most usually, the term refers to the ‘kit’ given to the media as part of a media briefing or press conference. In the trade, it is often referred to as the ‘takeaway’ or ‘leave behind’ and will typically include scripts from a presentation, copies of presentation slides, a press release and some frequently asked Qs and As.
The other version is what has become known as the ‘feeding frenzy’.
