My birthday is a week before Christmas so I always had a party. Margaret and her brother Peter came. Also Tommy from across the road. He always invited me to his bonfire night party. Some children came from my class at school. Pat and her sister Christine, who I played with in Holyhead, were also invited. Lorna, another friend, came too. She was a year younger than me and played with me sometimes. As soon as Lorna came into the room she went on her knees and crawled everywhere, just like me.
