Afeminist perspective on women's health communication must address the politics of women's body knowledge. Wellness, illness, beauty, and aging are aspects of body knowledge that also delimit arenas of struggle among diverse interests, such as medical, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, insurance, governmental, and personal concerns.
