Combining methodologies and narratives

The third section of this book includes three chapters that use a combination of methodologies to study feminist multiculturalist issues. Actually, all of the chapters in this book used more than one approach and methodology. As the introductory chapter notes, when studying multiculturalist issues one must combine theoretical and methodological strands. Previous binary approaches are inadequate to the study of spectrums, constant change, cultural struggle, and fluidity. The three chapters in this section, however, demonstrate some of the possibilities and indeed the necessity of a multipronged methodological approach.
