Currently published leadership textbooks do not adequately cover important leadership theories that have emerged in the last ten years such as “Emotions and Leadership”, “Authentic Leadership and Positivie Organizational Scholarship”, “Identity Theory”, “Sense-Making and Knowledge Management”, and Persuasion and Influence Tactics”. As a result followers of these models are forced to use course-packs and single-theory books. This textbook will meet the needs of this market by covering their favorite theories along with other traditional leadership theories. The textbook will be written in the conversational style preferred by today's students. It will be concise enough to be used in a case or course-pack oriented course, or in a module graduate program.
