Case Studies: Learning through Reflection and Action
This chapter sets out a series of case studies – based on the reality of school life – that illustrate a variety of authentic scenarios faced by school leaders. In the following case studies we look at some of the stages and situations where a teacher can get ‘stuck’. Through ‘points for reflection’, the reader is invited to consider and propose strategies described in earlier chapters and to call upon his/her own practical knowledge in order to devise plans and actions to support and challenge the teachers portrayed.
