A gay man in his mid-twenties, Mark, entered counseling because of a court order as a consequence of driving while under the influence of alcohol (DUI). He is employed as an accountant with a restaurant franchise. Mark was raised in a Catholic religious tradition within his family of origin, but because of that church's position on homosexuality and gay marriage, he no longer attends services. Andrew, the counselor, is twenty-five years old.
