Involve the Stakeholders
A stakeholder is defined as a specific person or group who has an interest (or stake) in the outcome of a project. They may be people who have to commit resources or funds to the venture or they may be directly, or indirectly, affected by the outcome.
In a school environment they include teaching staff, parents/carers, children, governors, LSAs, administration staff, caretaker, SMSAs and kitchen staff.
All these people can offer a worthwhile contribution to the project from a variety of perspectives. It is therefore very important that the views of all stakeholders are considered so that nothing is omitted.
