Integrative Review of Assessment Models for Health Promotion of Children and Their Families
This chapter reviews the recent nursing literature on assessment of children and families for health promotion and presents the state of the art in literature on health promotion. Literature in MEDLINE and CINHAL from 1989 through June 1996 was searched using the following key words: health promotion, primary care, children, adolescents, models of care, nursing, and assessment.
