Levels of Prevention
There are four significantly different stages at which preventive strategies may be implemented.
- Level 1: Preventing abuse and neglect from occurring.
- Level 2: Preventing low-level problems, including abuse and neglect, from getting worse.
- Level 3: Preventing child abuse and neglect from recurring.
