Every year, more fairs and festivals are emerging throughout the world, many of which take place on an annual basis and with a global presence. Fair and festival tourism consists of three distinct concepts: fairs, festivals, and tourism. Before fair and festival tourism can be defined, we first need to take one step back and define fairs, festivals, and tourism.
