Training and Licensure

Training and licensure refers to the process by which an individual becomes educationally qualified and registered to legally practice as a marriage and family therapist. This entry covers the training requirements common in the field of marriage and family therapy, including a review of some of the requirements set forth by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education.
