Simulation generally refers to the live or virtual representation or enactment of a set of events designed to produce a learning environment similar to real-world experiences. Simulation is defined as representing the characteristics and functioning of a system or a process through the use of another system. Simulation training is the technological alternative to conducting conventional training with actual equipment. Proficiency in the military’s effective response to threats requires development and maintenance of optimal competence and performance.
The ever-increasing military task complexities imposed by the use of advanced electronic and technological equipment demand that military members process and communicate immense amounts of complex information quickly.
