The National Black Arts Festival (NBAF) is a biannual festival of African dance, music, theater, film, and visual arts that takes place in Atlanta, Georgia. It is renowned for showcasing the music, art, and culture of people of African descent. The NBAF seeks to engage, expose, and educate diverse audiences about the arts and culture of the African diaspora and provide opportunities for the artistic and creative expression of African artists from a variety of disciplines. This mission is realized through several outlets, including a summer festival and a variety of educational public programs that are held throughout the year.
