Lifestyle Management of Type 2 Diabetes

Diabetes is a disease that can occur at any age throughout the life span. Current research and clinical data indicate that diabetes affects approximately 300 million persons worldwide and 23.6 million persons in the United States. As with the management of any health condition, patients and family members and/or their caregivers need to understand the disease state of diabetes and how it affects one's overall health.
