National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges
The National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges (NCJFCJ) is America's oldest national judicial membership organization. The name of the organization has changed several times through its history, from its beginning as the National Association of Juvenile Court Judges to the National Council of Juvenile Court Judges to its current name. The generic term council is used in this entry to designate all the entities.
Membership, which is approximately 2,000, is open to juvenile and family court judges, referees, and commissioners, as well as court services personnel, police and probation officers, attorneys, and other professionals and volunteers in the field of juvenile justice.
