Counseling Children and Adolescents From Diverse Groups

School-based professionals have the honor and challenge of serving the needs of all children in the schools. Children are active participants in the school community and bring a full range of positive and negative life experiences to the school setting. Along with the biological factors that influence how they process information and behave, there are also sociocultural factors that need to be addressed.
